Originating from the distant Andes mountains, and long known as an aphrodisiac, brown tonka beans infatuate the senses. Their secret? An unusual, aromatic scent reminiscent of the vanilla bean. Our tonka bean soap boasts a hint of this stimulating aroma, refreshing body and soul alike. While the vanilla aroma is a true experience, our tonka bean soap also offers outstanding nurturing properties: This fragrant soap gives your skin the moisture it needs. This rich, nurturing effect is thanks to precious oils that gently support your skin's regeneration. Tonka bean soap protects your skin against drying out, while offering mild cleaning.
The result? Wonderfully supple skin, with a creamy touch and the sweet scent of vanilla. Your skin retains its natural, protective barrier, as the high percentage of non-saponified oils gives the tonka bean soap a lipid replenishing effect.
Carefully selected, high-quality organic oils are blended together, then stirred carefully into the lye. This type of production is called a cold mixing process. It retains the produced glycerine, allowing it to care for and moisturise skin.
The selected oils help replenish skin and ensure optimal skin care. The soap is rested for 6 weeks as part of its finishing process. Only then will the soap be mild and work up a rich lather.
