Product information "Calendula soap"

Calendula – also known as marigold – has warm orange petals that simply burst with strength and vitality. It also packs exceptionally valuable properties inside: For our natural cosmetics, we use careful methods to obtain the nurturing calendula CO2 extract from the flower. This extract is the secret behind our refreshingly yellow calendula soap, a highly-concentrated ingredient for supple, soft hands. Added olive oil nurtures skin. The high percentage of non-saponified oil replenishes lipids, and maintains the skin's natural protective barrier.

Marigold petals enrich our calendula soap, by adding a gentle exfoliating effect that radically cleans and refreshes skin. Shea butter, jojoba oil and white clay tenderly pamper your skin. Orange oil adds a revitalising element for a vigorous start to your day.

Manufacturing information

Carefully selected, high-quality organic oils are blended together, then stirred carefully into the lye. This type of production is called a cold mixing process. It retains the produced glycerine, allowing it to care for and moisturise skin.

The selected oils help replenish skin and ensure optimal skin care. The soap is rested for 6 weeks as part of its finishing process. Only then will the soap be mild and work up a rich lather.
